About
Mike Roy is an independent fashion designer dedicated to making clothes that are socially and intellectually engaging. To this date, he has worked for some of NYC’s most preeminent, historical and current brands including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs and Bode.
Mike finished his Associates of Science degree in Fashion Design at Parsons The New School of Design in 2019. Here, he is focused on the design process from concept to creation. He specializes in menswear while centering on the use of color and contrast, fabric manipulation and modern silhouettes. He seeks to design clothes with concepts that bear people’s humanity in mind and that ask them to think critically, both in the visual and intellectual sense.
In addition to his education at Parsons, Mike has a dual Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and French Studies from the University of Connecticut. He aspires one day to run his own fashion label.
